Helmet Shoei

Q: Every time i take my helmet off it seems like i am ripping my ears off. Is there something i can do to stop this from happening? I have a Shoei x-11 helmet.

A: You can pull outwards laterally on the straps and the shell will widen out a bit. I've done it this way for years and never any kind of problem....
